Friday, September 19 will include several leisure activities, including a tour of Steveston and a tour of the National Nikkei Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby.
Saturday, September 20 we will focus on what young JCs are interested in and care about, and make the connections that will help you to learn about the community’s history, achieve your goals, and make your mark!
Sunday, September 21 we have the chance to tell your community what you envision for the future.
Registration fee: $50
Please bring a cheque written for $50 to the National Association of Japanese Canadians or NAJC to the Conference (Fri night or Sat morning). Here’s what is included in your registration fee:
- Workshops and Speaker events
- Welcome bag
- Saturday Dinner and Event ticket
- Sunday Lunch
- Transportation to main event sites

For those travelling from outside of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, you are eligible to apply for a $300 subsidy (there will be 10 available on a first-come-first-served basis). Please fill out the Request for Subsidy from the NAJC form and send it to jcyoungleaders [at] gmail.com by Friday, July 18, 2014. As well, you should contact your local NAJC Chapter so see if there is the possibility of additional financial support.
